Be my Valentine - with cheap roses

Today is Annual Drain on the Wallet Day, officially named after someone called Valentine, a 'saint', who makes you show your love by spending money on red stuff and sweets.

Thankfully the supermarkets never miss a trick when it comes to jumping on a bandwaggon and if you're the kind of person who buys supermarket flowers - and let's face it at least they give you a sachet of flower food so there's a chance they'll last more than half a day - this is the perfect lunchtime tip for today:

Where to get the cheapest roses

Of course, the best way to demonstrate your affection today is with a gesture such as a love letter or poem. Not only is it free but, even better, it means you don't have to set foot in Asda or Tesco. Or Sainsbury's and so on.
