Premiership football on the cheap
If you want to watch cheap Premiership football next season, head down to Blackburn Rovers. Don't let the weather, the funny accents or Robbie Savage put you off - at just £270 it's the cheapest adult season ticket in the division.
That's just £14.20 per game, which in the bloated world of the Prem is quite cheap. Next up is Charlton at £325 a year, followed closely by my beloved Aston Villa, where Doug Ellis will take just £330 of your money to watch creative genius Gavin McCann passing the ball sideways very badly.
At the other end of the scale, West Ham is charging its fans from £550 (£29) per game, with Premiership new boys Reading charging £545 – the same as Portsmouth. Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs are all more expensive, but their fans have snapped all available season tickets up, as have the sucker-for-punishment fans of Watford.
If you're interested in attending matches next year instead of watching them in a nice pub with beer, here are the cheapest available adult prices.
